One of two men who raided a house in Retford, Nottinghamshire has been jailed for nine years after pleading guilty to aggravated burglary. Arthur Bec, 26, and an accomplice tied up and gagged the occupant of the property before stealing cash, watches and jewellery worth £38,000. One of the men was armed with a steel bar and a handgun. The assailants fled when the victim’s wife returned to the house.
